Abraham Lincoln and hernando de soto are my 2 examples. Abraham Lincoln got success because he stopped slavery and he was said to be the greatest president America has ever had. He failed because he was assassinated because what he did for America. Abraham is said to be the greatest president at his time and current time today. Hernando de soto got success because he was the first European to step foot in Georgia. He almost got through with his journey because he ended up dying in the process of his journey to find gold. His trustees carried on with the journey. They never found what they were looking for.

I would choose Martin luther king, and Paul reviere. Martin was successful because made a difference to the world about slavery against any color. he also made Rosa Parks well known to slavery as well. Him and abraham have a few things in common, but lets not get into all that right now. Martin was not the greatest man in the world at the time, but when he came out with that "i have a dream" quote he became famous. His only failure was that he died.I dont remember how but he said that he still wants every one to carry out the responsiblity to get slavery and discrimination out.He was loved by many. Especially Rosa Parks.

I would choose Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson. They both played an important roll in history. One played a good part the other played a bad part. No matter how good or bad they had in the history they still were both important. Abraham stopped something that was cruel. Andrew created something that needed to be stopped. So in this life or line of history there were heroes and there were villains.

Even though many people were against the removal of the Indians, Andrew certainly didn't care for their opinion. While Jackson was happy with his choice, the Indians set off in hopes to find new land. Many set off on many trails leaving some all alone. They called this the Trail Of Tears.

My two important people from history is Sequoyah and john ross. These two people achieved things by written the Cherokee language . Sequoyah was a Cherokee. John ross was a white man who became the principal chief of the Cherokees in 1827. They have many differences and similarities in many different ways. One way they were alike was they helped the Cherokee and wrote Cherokee languages and constitutions' for the Cherokee. A difference is they wrote different things. John ross wrote the constitution for the Cherokee, and Sequoyah wrote the Cherokee language using the syllabary.

If I had to choose two important people in my history it would probably be Abraham Lincoln and Jessica Baker. I choose these people because they are important to me, my family, and my friends. Since we live in the country there are a lot of african americans (blacks) here so I have a lot of black friends. Abraham Lincoln was choosen for this compare and contrast experience because he has failed and succeeded lots of things. I also decided to go with Jessica Baker, because she was the first black lady singer in georgia. She is really important to my friend Vivica.

Two important people in History are Eli Whitney and Sequoya. They both created things that people could use and things they needed. Both of these people were a big help to the US. The things they created help out people all over the US. Although Eli Whitney didn't get credit for what he invented, he was still proud if it. Sequoya on the other hand did get credit for what he made. Eli Whitney invented a cotton gin, that picked the seeds out of cotton. Then, Sequoya created written Cheerokee Language (syllabary).

My two people that I will choose to compare and contrast are Abraham Lincoln and martain Luther King jr because they were both wanting equality . Both of these men were wanting blacks and whites to be equal . Many men wouldn't do what these two men did . Fought for slaves and African Americans because we are all equal . Abraham Lincoln am martain Luther King (mlk) have many of the same traits but many of different . Lincoln and King were both shot because I what they believe in . The two important people in history I chose to compare are Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr. These two are very alike. The way that they put their beliefs of slavery out there and took that risk to fight against discrimination was unbelievable. Even though one used violence for his cause and one chose to use words, they stood for the same thing and in the end that is all that matters.

Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman were two very important people. They each have many differences and similarities. Some similar properties are they both help negros. They each helped because Harriet helped the slaves and Martin help the blacks become free. Both were abolitionist. They also have differences too. Harriet was a slave, but escaped later while Martin never was one. Harriet also helped by helping slaves escape while Martin tried fighting by protest and speeches.

my two examples are Abraham Lincoln and Cornelius Vanderbilt. Abraham Lincoln is in my eyes, the greatest president I have ever heard.he ended slavery, and helped slaves be free. Abraham Lincoln was so successful, people were envious. He was with the north in the civil war. Abraham Lioncoln was not successful before he was, actually. He ran for political roles and failed, numerous times. before he was president, he ran for president, but he failed at that too. He was also shot and killed at ford theatre.

Steve Jobs and the historical figure that invented Hershey bars are their similarities and differences. The similarities between the two was that they both made an impact during their lifetime. There were times that stock went down and hurt their business. They both never gave up when something bad happened in their business. The differences between the two was that one person gave up and came back to try again while the other never stopped what so ever.

The two people i chose to do my story about was on Michael Jordan and Larry Bird. These two people accomplished many things throughout their lives. Michael Jordan and Larry Bird are two of the most known NBA basketball players ever! Michael Jordan is always remembered when people think of the game of basketball. Larry Bird wasn't as popular as Michael but he is popular. Basketball wasn't just a time killer for these two people, it was a way of life. Basketball to them wasn't always serious, they loved their fans to. Michael and Larry both were featured on the Dream Team, an all-star league of NBA basketball players, and that was their only time playing together.

If I were to compare and contrast two imortant people in history, they would have to be Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Ghandhi. They were both magnificant people who practiced nonviolence to influence civil rights and go against discrimination in their country. Martin Luther King, a Baptist minister, wanted equal rights for blacks and whites during the civil rights movement in America. Mahatma Ghandhi, a hindu who peacefully fought for the rights of Indians, was actually Martin Luther King's model. Martin used similar tactics that Ghandhi used to gain equal rights. They made speeches, nonviolent marches, and testimonies that ultimately changed their counrty's lives.

One person that took a big part in Americas history is Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison was the creator of the light bulb. He helped us in 1879. Another person that was important in our history is Harriet Tubman. Harriet Tubman was a run away slave that made it from the south to the north. During his time Babe Ruth was the homerun king and the strikeout king. Babe hit 714 homeruns in his career and he held the record for the most homeruns until Hank Aaron beat his record. Hank beat Babes record with a number of 755 homeruns throughout his career. Washington had a couple failures but not very many so therefore he wasnt as succesful. George's failures were during the french and indian war. Some of Abraham's failures were as follows: defeated for U.S. senate twice, defeated for nomination of vice president, and defeated for state legislature.

Two very important people in history were Jessie Jackson and Rosa Parks. Jessie Jackon was a famous Afrian American baseball player who was disliked because of his skin color. Rosa Parks Tubman was an African American woman who stood up for non-discrimination. Both of these people were disliked because they stood up for what they believed in. Also they have led into the present of blacks being able to play baseball, and being able to ride buses and do other things with other races of the nation. They both had a hard time with being accepted with other people of different races in their lifetime. Rosa was put in jail for not giving up her seat to a white male , and Jessie was hated because he took the place of a white male on a baseball team.

There are many great people worth honorable mention, but there are times of names mentioned more than once. People ask themselves "Who or Whom would be one of the most successful in history of the world?" One of the most simplest ideas can be the future of our world. My honorable mentions are Augustus Caesar (Octavian) and Emperor Constantine. Octavian and Constantine were both leaders of the Roman Empire. They both fought physically and politically for being the leader they always wanted to be. Constantine had a vision of a cross floating in the air after he won in battle, he converted to Christianity and repealed most of the harsh persecutions on Christians. While Caesar used deception and politics to become emperor.

Albert Einstein was known as a complete genius. With many degrees in medicine, science, and philosophy, he became the smartest man of his generation. He had a clear view of the problems of physics and had his own strategies. He was a Professor in Prauge, Berlin, and Princeton; Privadozent in Berne; and a technical assistant in the Swiss Patent office. He studied at three different universities and got excellent scores. He was born in Germany, moved to Italy, then moved to America. He was offered the Presidency of the state of Israel, yet he declined. He also attempted to reconcile the laws of mechanics with the laws of the electromagnetic field. He also was not able to learn as 'fast' as the other kids yet, overall Einstein was an extremely smart and talented man.

The two people that I picked was martin.L Kingand rosa parks. I am going to explain how they are the same and diffrice between the both people. They both are the same in some way you see back then whits had a probem with black people. It was so bad that blacks and whits could not even drank off the same water fontin. It was like the town was divieded into two sides and blacks could not go to the whit people side but the withs could come to the blacks side and treat them eny kind of way. But the blacks was to do they would get beatin very badly. ALSO only whits could sit to the front of the city bus wile blacks had to give up there seat and go to the front of the bus. And it got so bad that some one had to get up and do somthing about it. and this man was DR. KING. JR. yes he was the man who stud up and said somthing he was the man to say he felt some type of way.He was the man who had A dream that one day blacks and whits could come togather and be in the same class room. T here was alot add to that but its a lot. unto one day this man dieded he was killed by a white man.Roasa Parks relate to this because one day she got on the city bus and sat to the front of the bus and a white man told her to get up and give her seat to a white man and she refused to an she was arrested because of a white man.THEY are diffrent in some way because Rosa is a women and DR. There are many hero's in our history. For example Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr. Rosa Parks was a hero because she did something no other colored person would most likely do. It was December I 1955, Rosa Parks was going home from work , and every day she would take the bus. Back than African Americans could sit in the front of the bus so they sat in the back and if there was no more seat in the front for the whites one of the African Americans would have to give up their seat for that person. That day a white man made got on the bus and didn't have a seat. The bus drive asked Rosa to move so this man could sit, and she did something no one would have ever done. She said that she would not give up her seat for this man because she thought she deserved it just as much as this man did. The drive called the cops because she still refused to get up. Even though that day Mrs. Parks went to jail she had change things that day for everyone. What she did was amazing and very risky

There are several famous people in the world but the two that come to my mind are Elvis Aaron Presley and Michael Joseph Jackson. These two music icon's made the music world as we know it today. Elvis Presley was born on January 8, 1935 and began his singing career in 1954. He was in several movies and appeared on radio and TV shows making him a cultural icon. His first single was "Heartbreak Hotel" which was released in1956 and was a number one hit in the United States. His interpretations of songs and performance styles coincided with the Civil Rights Movement that made him very popular. Elvis Presley is one of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century of pop, blues and gospel music and the best selling solo artist in the history of recorded music.

The two people I chose are George jones and Hank Williams Sr. They both were really great classic country singers. Each one wrote songs that our grandfathers and grandmothers heard when they were young. One of there similarities were that each of there music was loved by lots of people. But one of there differences was that George jones died a couple of months ago, and Hank Sr. died in the 1950s.One of George jones songs were ''Its finally Friday,'' an I'm not sure what Hank Sr. wrote.

Hank Aaron beat Babe Ruths homerun record by 41 homeruns. Hank Aaron played right field while Babe Ruth was a pitcher and he was a srikeout king but Hank Aaron was not. Since Hank was not a pitcher he did not have the chance to be a strikeout king. Although Babe Ruth had an amazing number of 714 homeruns he actually strukeout 1,330 time in nhis career. also Hank Aaron strukeout 1,383 times in his career. These two men could be some peoples favorite major league baseball player of all time.

Two people from history that I`'ve chosen are Neil Armstrong, and Christopher Columbus . Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon. Where as Christopher Columbus was the first man to realize the world was round, and discover the Americas . I feel that both of these men paved pathways for the rest of us. Christopher lead the way for countless amounts of people to travel to north America ,later on forming the United states of America ! On the other hand Neil paved the way for many more astronauts to make that once in a life time trip to the moon! Both of these men ventured to places no one thought possible. But with these accomplishments came failure an difficulty.

What would world be like if we didn't have any historic people to save our nation? How would it be if we didn't have the wars? If we didn't have leaders? If we didn't have role models? Or just anything! I can't even imagine. We wouldn't have rights. We wouldn't have all the freedom we have today. Basically, anything, that's why it's important to learn about the history of our nation.

The two people i am comparing is Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Martin Luther King Jr. wanted freedom. His goal was for everyone to have freedom and be equal. He wanted people to be free and not be judged for their color. Martin Luther King said a speeched that end up changing the world. It is known today as the "I Have A Dream" speech. The speech was about his beliefs. It also was about what he wanted to change about the world. This is what Martin Luther King Jr. wanted.

There has been many famous people that has changed our history in the past. If I had to choose two to compare, I would choose Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. They both have had their share of failures and successes. They both have changed this world dramatically. Their advances in technology are being used in everyday life. Every time you go out anywhere, there is more then a 75% chance that you will see an Apple product. Every time that you log on to an computer then you will see some sort of Microsoft Office item. They are very similar because of their success in the technological field. They are different by their work in the field, one created Apple and the other Microsoft.

Abraham Lincoln was a very good president compared to all other presidents of the U.S. Abraham abolished slavery if it weren't for him and martin luther king then we would probably still have slavery. That is just one of the reason they put his head on a mountain because he is that good of a person. It is to bad that he was murdered because he could have done a lot of good for this country. I tell you what we need more presidents like him. Abraham and Washington were both great people. Only Abraham was the best president and only Washington was the best and smartest general. They both are equally great and special in there own way. That why they both are monumental statues on mount rushmore. They are truly amazing for that matter and all their details.

if I could compare two people it would be my mom and my dad. They are both very different in many various ways that make me wonder sometimes that its very confusing. One likes this the other likes that and sometime they can agree on both of the same things and sometime they get very confused with other things that its super hilarious.

martin luther king and malcom x are two very well examples. they were both in the same time period also. both of them wanted equality. people weren't treated equally back then. the whites had privileges while blacks had none. it was not even close to being fair. they both did not agree with the way they were being treated. I would've done the same thing,

During my lifetime, I have heard of two very significant people to our country's history. Those two great men are John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln. In our earlier history, they both served as Presidents of the United States. However, neither of them got to finish their term. Both of these great men were assassinated.

The two famous people i am comparing are Malcom X and Martin Luther King. The reason why i am comparing and contrasting these two men is because they are very similar in many ways. However they also have many differences. Malcom X is a man who is against slavery. He has a weird way of showing it though. He and Martin Luther King both have their own different ways of showing their hatred toward racism.

The two people that i would choose would be, George Washington and Robert E. Lee. First of all, both played a major role in American history. They have many things in common and many differences with each other. Other people could have been chosen but these two stood out to me. They both have done things that actually mattered to people.
