I personaly am aganist the statement that saying that if a classroom is to crowed becase i belive that every teacher has the right to teach achild the children have to want to learn an listen even more thats all its not impossible all students have to try as much as a teacher thats all. Here let me explain. In belive that a student can learn in any envirment if they try hard enough an if you have a good teacher an you have to pay attention more an focus more on the subject then people talking thats all it more responsibility on both partys. In conclusion i belive that any student can learn an that any teacher can teach you just have to focuse on the subject at large an noton things that happen around you im not saying it goin to be easy by any means just that its not impossible

I think the statements about the way education will change or be dumbed down are true. There are a lot of children in our schools. Sometimes there are too many children in one class. When this happens it is hard for the teacher to teach everyone. Some people learn faster than others. Some people learn slower than others. Many children need extra help and may not get it if the class is too big.

I do not agree with this statement. I agree that if we don't intervene, our education system will be dumbed down, but I do not agree that it will be dumbed down by those things. I think our educational system will be dumbed down by us lowering the expectations of our young children. This is a very touchy subject for some peopl, but i will try to express the way I feel about it with out offending anybody.

Surely, nowadays, there are a lot of people who would rather go on Facebook or talk on the phone with a friend than to sit down and read a good book. But in my opinion, there are still a ton of people in this world that actually enjoy reading and would be at a great loss if books were made illegal. If all books were banned, people wouldn’t be as educated because they would give up on trying to learn things on their own. I agree with what Elizabear said, “They would just have to find a new source of information, something that could be easily attained.” However, there a lot of people out there who enjoy reading books for fun. If you take away their entertainment, what do you expect them to do?

Some people belive that education will be ''dumbed down'' for two reasons. They believe classes will be two crowded and that technology will make it unnecessary to the think. I disagree with this statement. I dont think the amount of children in a classroom will not help the students learn. The teacher will most likely be happy that their are so many students who want to learn. Now heres why I also dont agree with that statement.

I do not agree with the statement entirely but there are some subjects that are correct though. The first, the classes will become crowded but that does not mean that learning will become any less effective. Most people take learning seriously, but there always is a couple of "party poopers". The fact that education will become "dumbed up" is only a matter of opinion. If the students can learn the same with a big class then so be it.

I do not believe that school work shoyuld not be dumbed down at all. Yes school calsses are getting much bigger, and it is harder to learn when class is full. It can be a good idea to make school a little easier, but many students are already used to the way it is so there ias really no reason to change it now. People are already making dumb desicions, and the only thing keepeing them from making them even dumber is school. If it is dumbed down, then many students will not think about there actions as much.

I would not want to agree with these statements because I don't think they are true. I really don't think the schools would get crowded for education to be dumbed down. no ones education is going to be effected by how the class is. every one should be fine with the way the classes are arranged and education should not be dumbed down.

In my opinion, this statement is true. "Dumbing down" is exactly what I'd call what the education systems are doing. Bigger classes are defininitely not helping the situation. A bigger class is futile because more students equal more behavioral issues. A single teacher can't control an unruly classroom even having an assistant teacher wouldn't even tame a bad class. Another bad thing about having a big class is that the students don't have the one-on-one face time between teacher and student. In result to this, grades will start slipping, more bad conduct will surface, and the eventually a school will end up shutting down due to its bad reputation.

I think that the students should make new schools and keep technology in the school. The board of education should make new schools and classrooms. Technology is one of the best ways to get information about the topic. If you make new schools, there won't be anymore overcrowding. If the students know how to use technology, they will use it wisely. More schools will result in less cramming going to the bus. I know that there are a lot of stuff on the internet that are inappropriate. Here are some reasons about overcrowding the schools and technology.

I disagree with this statement. It shouldn't matter how many students are in a classroom; If he student wants to learn they will pay attention. Also, It should be the teachers job to reach to every student, so they learn what they are supppost too. The students have to work just as hard as the teacher to get a good education.

I disagree because some people don't have the technology that other students have. If they don't have the technology then they cant look up the information. Also students need to learn what they are looking up. That's also why we need good education. Unless you want to pay for the technology so that students get the right education.

In my opinion, I do not agree with the statement that classes will be "dumbed down". To me, it shouldn't matter how big the class is or if teconolgy is becoming the answer to everyone's problem. The class room is somewhere where people have the right to an education. So by telling one student that they can't be in that particular class, just isn't fair. Yes, I do know that there is only one teacher per class room, but what about college? In college there are tons of people in one class, and there's only one teacher. Yet, all of them learn from that one teacher no matter how many people are in that class.

I don't think that our school system is going to be dumbed down. This shouldn't happen to our educational systems. If there is a crowded classroom, the school needs to hire another teacher for that certain classroom. The board of education could also start building another school. That should not be a problem.

School will may become unaressery because of all the technology soon you will be able to goolge things or something. Or maybe the schools will have to many kids to fit in the class therefor other kids will not be listening as well.

I honestly, somehow agree with this. But, at the same time i dont. i do because with technology, we can do the same thing as without it. But, i dont because we need to learn how to use our heads so we are not just dumb all of the time. And size of the class does not matter. College professors teach more than 100 students per class period. it would not be hard to make the rooms a little bit bigger for the school.

I think that it is true that if a classroom is to crowded most people will not get effected by it. The only reason is because other people in that class can become a distraction to the people that are actually trying to learn the stuff. Some people may not mean to annoy them and become a distracion, but some just will. Other people in the world may think otherwise. Like, when you said it may be dumbed down. You actually don't know that. I can say the same thing, but that is my opinion. We really don't know what will happen though. Also , you said that technology makes it unecceasarry. That can be true as well as be untrue. we actually can't say weather not it can be true or false, because some people learn better when they have technology and some people get distracted by it. Kids in other classes just use it as a weapon to become smarter or either dumber. We can just actually say that education will become dumbed down. It is actually to soon for us to assum. I just told you some facts about my opinion. Your opinion was that education was going to become dumbed down. My opinion was actually the same. Like I said before, those are just opinions. We can not actually say that because it has not been reserched. So there you have, education might become dumbed down by two reasons. THEY ARE TECHNOLOGY AND A CLASSROOM WITH TWO MANY PEOPLE.

I believe this statement is true. There are many reasons that some classes will become "dumbed down" but, these two are the most likely.Technology distracts students and they become more interested in it more than their school work.they could be worried about what was said on Facebook,Twitter, ect. There are so many thing today that can distract a child but, technology has to be the worst.

I personally do not agree with this statement entirely. Education will not become "dumbed down" as you say. There is a reason schools have a certain system on how students are organized into classes. For example, some schools have advanced classes or extra classes for students that are more advanced or need extra time on their work. Yes, some classes may get crowded, but the learning ability goes to every student that is in that class,an if a student struggles, schools have tutoring sessions available for the students.

There are some rumors going around about changing education and "dumbing it down". It is a belief that classrooms are becoming too crowded to teach students affectively, and technology makes it so that people don't need to entirely understand a subject. Do you think we should make education "easier"? Do you realize what that would do to the economy? Doing this could have devastating effects.

I personally don't agree with this statment entirely. Education will be dumbed down but not exactly because of these reasons. People say the first reason is that the Classes are too crowded to reach all of the students. This is not necessarally ture. There are advanced classes for kids who learn at a faster pace, and there are special classes for kids who learn at a slower rate. These plus the regular classes should make the classes smaller.

Some people believe that education will be ''dumbed down'' for two reasons: they believe classes will be two crowded, and that technology will make it unnecessary to the think, I disagree with this statement because technology actually helps some of us on the websites we go to for the most part but for some of it it is useful to us it might not be to teachers though. To me classrooms will be dumber if they have a lot of student because the teacher will always get disrupted most likely all the time and wont never have time to teach or the teacher wont be able to help everyone that needs it because it will be to crowded but this probably wont happen if they put the right students together and separate the bad one from each other.

In my opinion this statement is true. I think the education abilities are getting worse and worse. One because there are too many students in a class. Two because of technology. A class with too many students gives the teacher less tine to help a student one on one. And technology makes it unnescesary for students to learn fully. Education is getting worse.

I don't think that school is getting dumber. The students is what is making it look dumb because some people talk and not listen in class. People needs the education so they can get some where in life. If the teacher will make learning fun then people will start to listen. Then it wont look like school is getting dumb.

The topic given makes a lot of sense. I am for this given topic. Point 'B' is something that I completely agree with. Technology is rapidly advancing right now, and if we aren't careful, students will become too dependent on it in order to be successful. With what's going on in the technology world, in a matter of maybe a decade, we won't even have to THINK for ourselves. If you happened to have a question about anything, you could have the answer in a matter of 30 seconds. The interactive boards that schools now use actually help the students get more involved, so I actually support that piece of technology in the schools.

"classes will become dumbed down because of technology and larger classes." I do happen to agree with this statement. A bigger class means less one on one time with the teacher. Especially if the class doesn't behave all the time. If a teacher has 45 students then its going to be a lot harder to reach out and answer every single question that one of those kids have.

I most certainly disagree with the two statements. Education will be dumbed down in a different way other than these two. Colleges have tons of people in their classes all the time, so size really don't matter if the teacher knows how to teach the subject well. There are some classes where there needs to be only a certain amount of students in the class, so the students who don't get it fast enough to get it.

I think both of those reasons are why education isn't as good as it used to be. More kids in a class with one teacher makes it harder for some students to be able to understand things more easly. They would also have to much intruptions by other students in the class. More kids less education understood.
